There are several names given to abnormal people such as Mad, Crazy, mentally ill, emotionally disturbed psychologically inbalance e.t.c. But there are more to abnormality than all these.
According to a psychological manual DSM IV, written by American Psychiatric Association, an abnormal person is an individual who exhibits a behaviour that sanctions the intervention of a mental practitioner.
Also, according DSM IV, an abnormal behaviour fall within certain criteria which are
-behaviour that is inappropriate.
-when perception is fauty
-behaviour which is dangerous to oneself and others
-behaviour which is maladjusted.
